SMART technologies launches 'SMART Table' for schools

SMART Table is an interactive learning centre, a multi-touch display device, where groups of students can simultaneously interact with digital content. It gives an interactive tool to the students to sit on the same table, discuss and write, draw or move objects on the screen.

The SMART Table will feature custom lesson plans and will use gesture support, made easier with a wide viewing angle. A path-breaking tool to make collaborative learning more fun and interactive in classrooms. The new multitouch computer table will be launched in the spring of 2009, and will have a host of learning applications designed for children.
